Tutor for the Bass-Guitar or Bass-lute

Reproduction of the 1940 Zimmermann tutor for the common European version of the harp guitar, the bass-gitarre, and the basslautes utilizing the exact same tuning and techniques (examples [at right] of which are included in the book).

62 pages, text in German and English, illustrated with chord fingering diagrams, and full music, notation and playing instruction for the beginner. Virtually all of the focus, instruction and exercises applies to the fretted neck. Sub-basses (from 3 to 7, and in this method, tuned diatonically) are notated with 8^va.
